HTC 7 Pro Windows Phone 7 QWERTY smartphone to UK launch in January

We know that HTC 7 Pro comes in Europe early next year - about the same time with the handset launch in the U.S. (via Sprint).

O2 Germany has updated its corporate website with information about the launch of the HTC Windows 7 Phone smartphone called the HTC 7 Pro.

The first European operator to confirm the release of the 7 Pro, O2 Germany, which now shows the smartphone on their official website.

According to the website, the device is set to be available in January.

According to O2, the 7 Pro will be available for purchase from January.

The 7 Pro is powered by a 1 GHz processor, and offers 16 GB of internal storage, in addition to 512 MB of ROM and 512MB RAM.

The price is not known, but customers will likely be able to get it for free on contract (with a data plan).

The unit is equipped with a 3.6-inch touch screen with 800 x 480 pixel resolution, and a full QWERTY keyboard.

The 7 Pro also offers a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash and 720p HD video support.

HTC 7 Pro was introduced earlier this year, and announced that U.S. wireless carrier Sprint will offer the smartphone in the first half of 2011. Pricing has not been announced at this time.
