I'm not quite sure what's going on over at Microsoft regarding Windows 7 Phone updates, but according to comments on the developer site, they may not have a clue either. The updates have been slow, customers have been upset and it seems that Microsoft is not hurrying up the process somewhat. Simple comments on most users get the update from February, have been found untrue, and that's the reason for the apology at this point. The update adds copy and paste features, performance updates and improvements to the market place for buying apps. In the meantime, while all related to the updates is to prevent Note Gates, they posted a list of events, allowing users to see when the updates are expected in the United States and international markets.
The last update was delayed just to test the update process, which seemed to be fine minus the Samsung phones, telephones and prepare for future updates. Honestly, I do not think Microsoft will be able to keep pace with the changes in the smartphone business long enough to be competitive. What do you think?.

Microsoft Wednesday set up a Web site that will tell people when Windows 7 Phone devices will cut and paste update.
Although it will initially only be available for non-branded phones, where providers have not adapted phones, the operators in the UK passed testing stage and is now planning the release of the update for the coming weeks.

In comments posted on the Microsoft web site developer, lamented Joe Belfiore both the inertia of the update and for earlier comments that indicated that Microsoft was further along with the update than it actually was.
The delay due to technical problems with a minor update to the operating system (OS) in February, which resulted in Microsoft pulls Windows 7 Phone service on Samsung devices.

[How To] Make Windows Phone 7 market work in unsupported regions
Were you in for a rude shock when you gotten your new Windows 7 Phone only to be met by renting market is not supported in your region message? Zune Market place, supported in a handful of countries, much less than the number of countries where Windows 7 Phone is available. It is a very simple, but for some it can be very inconvenient, work around for this. When the phone for the first time, it asks for live ID. This is where the problem lies. If you live ID has some other countries that are stored in it, the market wont work. It's that simple. The solution is to create a new Live ID and select the country for the United States. Then the phone chose the U.S. as the region. Voila! You can now get access to the market. You will not be able to purchase any paid applications though, unless you have a credit card that works internationally. Some users have reported their credit card does not work. Since I do not own one I can not say for sure.

Apple does not even make this kind of announcement and push it.
You will not find any trick slide-out QWERTY or other tech-friendly delights you read about in the following sections.
So where was the PR department when Microsoft tried to sell the new phone OS? It's pretty pathetic when your only good news is a software update.
Instead, Samsung Focuses on form factor and a sexy 4-inch AMOLED screen Super, which makes the phone display the best of this lot.
What else is Microsoft doing? Let me look at the rundown.
Microsoft Office integration, Hotmail, Windows Live accounts, and everything else that stems from Master Gates'mastermind is all part of the package too. # 3 HTC SurroundThe definitive black sheep of the bunch is the HTC Surround (Full Review) for AT&Take the phone that slides, but in no way have you ever seen before. Toss in superior call quality to all the other phones, and an impressive battery life, and HTC Surround is one of the more rockin 'Windows 7 Phone phones out there. 123 Party! # 2 HTC HD7T-Mobile's only crack at Windows 7 Phone ecosystem is quite kind.
I am also seeing the use of the new buzz-word of the month: personal cloud.
Picking up where it left off of HD2 HTC, HTC HD7 flaunts a massive 4.3-inch screen with 16 million colors, Dolby Mobile sound, and a tripod. A 5-megapixel camera with 720p and dual LED flash leeches on the back of the phone, and we get 16 GB embedded NAND flash memory to store all those videos. HTC HD7 is Microsoft's answer to HTC and Motorola EVO 4G Droid X, but it lacks a few features that the other giants have, as HDMI, Android Market, Android OS. But it is a Windows Phone 7 phone and that HTC did a nice job with the HTC HD7. # 1 LG QuantumIn our extensive experience, we see a Whitman's Sampler of phones. Some are absolute rubbish, and a few are top-notch examples of what a phone should be. LG has entered the smart phone arena with some of the best designed phones on the market, and LG Quantum of AT&T is one of them. Our # 1 Windows 7 Phone phone finds its way to the top because of its quality design and overall versatility.

Microsoft rolls out Bing mobile updates for IOS and Android users
Search OPERATOR Microsoft has revealed large patches of Bing mobile website, although Windows 7 Phone (WP7) users must wait to see the benefits.
Microsoft Wednesday rolled out some updates to the Bing for Mobile browser service including real-time public transport updates for selected cities and the inclusion of the apps in results for searches on the iPhone.
Microsoft says that updates to Bing for mobile phones is better and faster image search, real-time transit information and use and HTML5 to do it.
Most of the updates available for iPhone and Android users, but not Microsoft's own Windows 7 Phone customers.
The only problem is, the version of Internet Explorer included with WP7 not support HTML5, then just IOS Android and smartphones can use the latest version of Bing mobile.
That's because services are built with HTML 5, as Windows 7 Phone does not support yet.
With this overhaul, Microsoft is trying to make Bing a portal for smartphone users, not only search, but information, weather, shopping tips, film information and an application search facility.
The company has promised an update later this year that will include an HTML 5 browser for Windows 7 Phone devices.
Although Google is trying to offer many of these functions with different programs, Microsoft has decided to put it all in one place.
As part of Bing update, users visiting m.bing.com click on directions and on the bus icon to see how to take the bus or other public transport to the destination.
After all, it would be reasonable to expect that the latest updates to Bing mobile will be available for users of Microsoft's operating system.
In addition, users will be able to click on the bus round for the real-time information on when a bus arrives.
Instead, the best Bing experience to be had only on smart phones that do not run WP7.The weaknesses in Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser on WP7 was shown yesterday when Microsoft suggested that Web developers should use a \if statement \to download CSS files to insure sites display properly on WP7 devices.
The real-time data is available for Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago and Los Angeles.
Microsoft has said it will release Internet Explorer 9 for WP7 later this year.
Google Maps on the iPhone displays the transport routes, but not necessarily real-time information about buses.
Until then, it recommends that users should not worry, as these updates will work well at the time.
When using the Bing to search, iPhone users can now get the results for the relevant iPhone apps in addition to the regular search results.

Two new Windows 7 Phone handsets for AT&T and Sprint, are on display this week at the CTIA conference in Orlando.
HTC HD7S launching soon in the UK, filled with a new screen and some enhanced features.
Both arrive with the latest version of Microsoft's mobile operating system, which includes new features such as copy / paste text.
The biggest difference between the HD7 and HD7S is that the new display.
