Nokia to sell Symbian smartphones 'long after' Windows Phone appears

After the formal announcement of a partnership with Microsoft for Windows 7 Phone operating system, many experts believed that Nokia will stop developing for the Symbian operating system, the company's own operating system. It may be mentioned here that Nokia is the world's largest mobile phone manufacturer and as a result, Symbian has a large market share. But lately the operating system has shown negative growth as it has failed to compete with competitors such as Android and IOS that led to the cooperation between Nokia and Microsoft Windows 7 Phone operating system. Some sources in the company has confirmed that the manufacturer will roll out some new Symbian devices in recent future. Also it is believed when devices with Windows 7 Phone OS is clear that the company will continue with both operating systems.
In recent weeks we have been evaluating our Symbian roadmap and now feel that we should have a strong portfolio of new products in our transition period - ie 2011 and 2012.They will also include improvements in hardware performance GHz + processing capabilities and faster graphics speeds.
