HTC's 16 megapixel Windows Phone 7 mobile revealed

Unfortunately, there is no word on the lens or other hardcore tech details, so we do not know yet whether this really is a compact killer. Altek holds the record for the most megapixels, 14, with Leo's phone. HTC's new number would screw things up a notch, but would not guarantee top quality snaps. This new WP7 phone is not yet named, but the leaked press shot suggests it will follow a similar design to the HTC mobiles second wrapping Microsoft's mobile operating system.

This may just be a placeholder until the real chassis is revealed, but HTC rarely strays too far from the beaten track.
The known specs for the new device is somewhat limited.
In the trailer on PocketNow, is a dual LED flash revealed and it is, quite frankly, all it mentions.
It is worth pointing out the number of megapixels is not a sign of quality.
We're 99.9 percent sure HTC's new device is going to challenge something that 14.2-megapixel Sony DSLR Nex-5, based on numbers alone.
Still, HTC Altek beat Leo in sheer megapixel stakes, taking the crown as'beastiest'camera on the market.
