At a time when Android and IOS dominate the handset market, Microsoft's Windows 7 Phone nowhere in the picture.
Months after that the cooperation between Nokia and Microsoft have been announced, there are fewer Windows phone devices than Symbian phones.

Apple, however, is likely to continue in market segments where profit margins are high, and therefore the numbers will be small.
The pace, if correct, would be significant because it is the market that drove the first wave of success for the company.
A Microsoft official spoke on MIX (a Microsoft developer conference) about the target group of Windows 7 Phone and how the company is not about knowledge workers alone.
He also mentioned that the company is now focused on life Maximizer, or people who juggle various tasks at all times.
Microsoft is also targeting young people who may worry about work e-mail, but want to have fun too, so they'll units full of apps.
But then these are two different categories, the young audience will be enhanced feature phones, loaded with apps, but at lower cost.
Even at the Mobile World Parliament in Barcelona earlier this year, had Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, made it clear that the company would focus on music, video, games, pictures, marketplace, people and, of course, office.
