Microsoft to launch Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 and later only

While doing my daily chore of surfing the Internet on a spaceship from a distant future, I stumbled across this rather warranty coverage but true article from a blogger.
HTC preparing a 16MP Windows 7 Phone handset? By Florin On 16 April 11At the moment, HTC is the company that launched the highest number of Windows 7 Phone devices (five of them - if we do not count HTC Arrive and HD7S, which is just variants of other models).
Imran is a tech enthusiast who can be considered as another cribbing guy who has nothing to do but rant all day about something.
More WP7 HTC handsets will be safely released soon, and one of them can have a 16MP camera with dual LED flash.
Really ...?? Look at the errors he points out the current lineup of WP7 devices and decide for yourself.
Apparently, HTC has already made a promo video for their future 16MP Smartphone.
While he praises the look and feel of Metro UI, he writes in an open manner letterish why he was let down by WP7: You know how important battery life metre and signal meter is in a phone? Well, they are hidden by default.
The strange thing is that the device can be seen in the video is just like the Android-based Desire S, with the exception of Windows Phone capacitive buttons.
You can not just look at the screen, and know when it's time to recharge or why the call just dropped.
Pocket Now (promo video that was who knows where), indicates that the device can be just a placeholder for the real 16MP WP7 handsets.
You have to pull down these meters just to find out.
But we can not know anything for sure right now.
It may seem like a good idea to keep the UI minimal, but guess what? It is not.
HTC does not have smartphones with camera resolutions higher than 8MP.
The apps list.
In fact, these are quite rare.
I have about 70 apps installed, including those built in them.
Of course, the high megapixel count of a camera does not guarantee that you will be able to take good pictures with it.
To get to any app, I do tons of scrolling.
Anyway, let's wait and see what HTC has in mind, we shall follow us:? Whether you prong your most used programs to the main screen (which is also a pain to roll just like the app list) or you just keep on rolling in the apps list.

I do not need to say anything more about it than for it is just ridiculous.

Push notifications.
Yes, Microsoft did a good job of copying this trick out of Apple's playbook.
Good job.
But, they somehow forgot to create a standard user interface to view the app had shown the message.
Every third party app has a different way to show them if they do at all.
I'm not talking about the notification bar that displays at the top of the screen, but how many messages are displayed for each app if they are one of those rare people who actually useful support push notifications.
Address field in the browser landscape disappears.
Why, Microsoft, why? Did you even bother to do some tests on this? Camera settings do not save.
Hello Windows 7 Phone team! Ever used a camera? Great, take a clue from that.
Brightness.
Only low, medium and high.
Why is not there a slider for this? What age we live in? I know you're a Nokia partner now, but you did not have to take design cues from the Nokia Season 40 phones.
Slow apps.
Try to pull in Facebook and Twitter apps.
The items will begin to disappear if you scroll too fast.
Also, try to zoom in and out, notice the choppiness? Is it OS or 1Ghz processor that fails to keep pace with touch gestures? Market Place.
Rarely it happens that the apps update fine.
For the most part I have to Permanently Delete them and install them from the market.
And I've checked, I'm not the only one facing this problem.
No virtual button on the camera around.
Sure, you have a physical button, but an opportunity for a virtual shutter button would not have done any harm whatsoever.
We are accustomed to on-screen keyboard and buttons so why do not you understand, Microsoft? App crashes.
Same for third-party applications.
What the heck? App quality in the marketplace.
I want Reeder, there is no app is compared with itself.
YouTube? There is no app good enough.
Oh wait, Google Maps? Nope.
Bing Maps show three-year-old maps in my region.
Messenger? No integrated and not good enough available.
But yes, if you have $ 499 to waste, you can find a program for it in the Marketplace.
Microsoft is apparently okay with just increasing the number of apps and not the quality.
There is no push messaging integration into Facebook and Twitter apps.
I can not back up the Windows Phone 7 with the Zune desktop app I can not sync my contacts or calendar entries or bookmarks with the Zune desktop app, either.
For many tasks in fact I need a lot of cranes.
Take Wi-Fi for example.
Need to open up Settings > Wi-Fi, and then turn it on or off.
It would be great if the power button came up a few on-screen menu for fast switching.
Xbox Live.
Marketplace.
iPhone never released in my country.
Yet there has been a regional App store for us.
The marketplace is available in a few countries.
I can not buy any apps.
Although Windows 7 Phone phones are officially available here.
It is definitely not easy to use for the new smart-phone users.
The icons do not explain themselves.
I've had people get confused about how to call because the icon in the phone app not say'keyboard'to raise the menu.
The interface is consistent throughout the OS.
The sometimes cryptic icons are not useful for most people until they open the menu text.
It is a learning curve involved.
It may not seem like a big thing, but compared to its competitors, it is.
Secondary Value.
Pathetic.
OS has had some positive impact on the users so far.
I have seen older Samsung S Galaxy phones to sell for more than the Samsung Omnia 7.The ads are misleading.
Taking photos with Windows 7 Phone is not faster than the iPhone or Android.
It records at around 24 fps on most Windows 7 Phone handsets. There are Windows 7 Phone device that 720p video recording at 30 frames per second. Office is terrible. It is too easy, and I can not open many simple Excel files that work on all other platforms. I can not put up a static IP for my Windows 7 Phone Device Wi-Fi settings on my home network. They are always grayed out. What gives? I have not even touched on the lack of HTML5 (coming soon), Flash, multitasking (coming soon), copy / paste (also coming soon) today date. While the list is definitely impressive, we still have to decide which points are valid and which are not.
