Talks Continue and On Track for Nokia, Microsoft for Windows Phone 7

Despite having announced that it will be to adopt Microsoft's Mobile Windows 7 Phone OS on the Nokia-made smart phones, the world's largest phone maker still has not ended talks with Microsoft about the full terms and an agreement to switch from Symbian to Windows Phone.
Nokia CEO Stephen Elop had previously confirmed that Finland-based company will not give out any Windows 7 Phone-based mobile phones in 2011.But still a highly rated Nokia has officially confirmed that the mobile phone maker will actually launch about 40 handsets in 2011
According to Nokia, the negotiations are on track and continues between Nokia and Microsoft.
.
Reuters writes: The negotiations have gone very well.
After confirmation of this news, some experts are now suggesting that Nokia, Microsoft partner will not give any results soon. The official said we will launch 40 models in 2011, of which at least 30% will be smartphones
They will be completed well on schedule, said Kai Oistamo, head of corporate development at Nokia, said Monday.
.
Nokia and Microsoft had announced a nonbinding agreement about the start of Mobile World Parliament last month to use Windows 7 Phone as the main platform on its phones.
By launching this many Nokia phones are trying very hard to make its presence felt in the market. Recently, Nokia has been facing strong competition from large companies such as Blackberry, Apple and Google global
Since the agreement was announced, was Google, which was in a race with Microsoft to woo Nokia to adopt its platform, said that Nokia finally selected Windows 7 Phone because Microsoft had given the Finnish phone maker monetary incentives.
.
Since the agreement continues to stretch out and a final agreement has not yet been reached, Reuters reports that many analysts fear that the long conversations could potentially delay the release of new hardware from Nokia running Microsoft's mobile operating system.
In some markets, it has also faced competition from the Chinese and other local producers. Some experts remain skeptical of the impact that these 40 phones will have on Nokia declining market share
Both companies are seen as underdogs in the smartphone race despite the fact that once held dominant market positions.
.
Nokia says it remains on track to release phones.
Although the pricing range for these phones have not been decided, but it will be a big factor
The bulk of the company's Windows 7 Phone devices should materialize in 2012 ..
