Windows Phone 7 'NoDo' update for all (even if you're on AT&T)!

Are you a Windows 7 Phone handset owner who has been patiently waiting for'NoDo \\ u0026quot, but your carrier is dragging their heels? Keep reading! ChevronWP7 developer Chris Walshie has created a program that combines all the updates (pre-7008 NoDo all the way to NoDo update 2 7390) in one package.
Filed under: microsoft, share something of you who own the Windows 7 Phone devices are still waiting for the pre-NoDo preparation service - never mind even NoDo
Here's what Walshie have to say: So I flashed my HTC Mozart back to RTM (7004) via a ROM Update HTC ships and whipped up a little application to the flash pre-NoDo (7008), NoDo (7355), NoDo update 1 ( 7389) and NoDo update 2 (7390) all in a single process.
.
No I do not care which carrier you're on, what phone you have, it will only update the phone equivalent.
Some workarounds have been posted, but unfortunately they do not work if the operator had completed testing and were ready to plan update
We really have to commend Microsoft in order to separate the OS updates in the differential packages, which saves users to download 200 + MB of updates, as opposed to IFruit updates.
.
All you need to do is run ChevronWP7.Updater.exe console app and follow the instructions.
Now, however, the Chevron WP7 team Chris Walshie delivered a handy little tool that will allow you to update Windows 7 Phone device - regardless of your carrier. Download and install Windows Phone Support Tool (x86 or x64) and ChevronWP7 Updater (x86 or x64) Launch ChevronWP7 Updater, and select your language
To double-check what the default language, go to Settings \\ u0026gt: Keyboard and if the language you selected appears in the Console app, you're good to select it.
.
If it is not in the list, DO NOT flash it yet.
If the language is not listed, stop and do not update. If running WP7 build 7004 (you can check the Zune) and then run the updater twice
If you are updating from version 7004, you must run the Updater twice, this must preUpdate before we can flash NoDo.
.
This can work for HD2 owners, have not tried it out yet.
When the process is complete, you should be able to copy and paste to your heart's content
There is NO return process, again, flash at your own risk.
.
Disclaimer, use this at your own risk, if this voids the warranty I will not be held responsible, blah blah all that junk.
Let's hope all this update just foolishness will be sorted out before we receive Mango
Downloads for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows is available.
.
If you try it, let me know how it goes.
