Straight ahead of next week's MIX11, Microsoft's international Web developer conference in Las Vegas, Microsoft unveiled new data on Germany's Windows Mobile 7 app development.
According to the Windows Mobile Developer Tools have been downloaded more than 1.5 million times and all over the world, Microsoft has more than 36 000 registered App Hub developers with approximately 1200 new developers to log in each week.
Germany is doing quite well, and Microsoft Germany counts over 2000 registered developers who have designed and uploaded over 700 applications for Windows 7 Phone Market Place.
The market place is said to now have more than 11 500 applications with the 7500 pay apps, while about 44% of these programs are available as free trial (try before buy) versions.
Last but not least, 62% of all apps allowed in the first route of review for Windows Mobile Marketplace and the average processing time 1.8 days only.
